How BookTix Works

Let's get started selling tickets! Here’s the run down on how BookTix can provide you with a simple and professional ticketing system.

Step 1

Online Setup

You send us all of the relevant information about your theater and we build your virtual online box office and admin management portal. Customized with your organization’s logo and colors, this site will be your professional online destination for customers to purchase seats.

We load all of your show information, title, prices, performance dates, location, etc. and build a venue map for patrons to select seats and purchase tickets.

There is no complicated infrastructure to learn, no hidden setup or start up fees, and no software to purchase. Everything is hosted on our servers for remote access anywhere online.

Step 2

Begin Online Sales

For online sales, patrons purchase tickets using an online shopping cart. Intuitive and straightforward, the system is designed for ease of use by audience members of all ages.

Patrons select show dates and performance times. Our interface is available for general admission, reserved seating venues or a combination of both.

At checkout, customers pay a low flat fee per ticket. Unlike our competitors, this is the ONLY cost for ONLINE sales and includes ALL credit card charges.

You have the option of either having your patrons print their tickets at home or pick them up in person at Will Call. All tickets include a unique barcode for scanning at the door.

Step 3

Effective At Door Sales

Your BookTix account includes a powerful administrative management portal that allows you to sell tickets in real time in addition to the many other management tools you would expect from a professional ticketing system; reports, seat holds, comps, reprints, to name a few.

Your new point of sale system provided by BookTix includes a high-speed thermal printer and professional ticket stock (at no charge to you). When a customer sees you in person, you can select and print their tickets with the click of a button in seconds in our simple and easy to use interface.

Step 4

Verify Tickets

We provide you with a barcode scanner (also at no charge to you) to zap tickets like professional venues to verify tickets as patrons enter the theater.

Step 5

Reporting and Accountability

Stop the worry and headache of reconciling your books and counting ticket stubs. Instantly, you can view detailed revenue reports and account for every ticket sold. Plus, you can download patron email addresses for marketing future shows.

Step 6

Get Paid
